The Parents Council: Building a Multi-Generational Community of Support for Stevens
Established in 2016 and already more than 40 members strong, the Stevens Parents Council comprises a select group of committed parents who generously give of their time to serve as ambassadors for the university and provide volunteer support for campus events. Many of the members are also Stevens alumni, bringing unique perspectives as former students who are now parents of currently enrolled students.
Parents Council members participate in a variety of campus activities, such as hosting “send-off” parties for incoming first-year students and volunteering at an information booth during Family Weekends. They also contribute expertise and perspective by serving on various Stevens advisory boards. Through their dedication to Stevens, these volunteers are building a legacy, linking the university’s storied past with its bright future.
