Racing to Finish the Road Trip Scavenger Hunt
One of my fondest memories was participating in the BOKEN Road Rally with Shant. This was before GPS, EZPass, and Google Maps. The car was filled with paper maps so we could plot the course in real-time. It was not only a crazy trip around the state but included a scavenger hunt where we had to decipher a set of clues leading us on our journey. At each pit stop, we had to complete a task – pick up a can of beans at King’s grocery in Livingston, then drive down the shore to a specific mini-golf course to get a hole-in-one and many stops in between! We then raced back to campus, pulling into the 8th Street lot where each task earned points. We then spent the rest of the day enjoying the Battle of the Bands and the many BOKEN events around campus. Great times!
