Dinners at Town Lunch
This may be an odd one, but one of my strongest memories is eating most of my dinners at the Town Lunch on Washington Street, long since gone. Millie, the waitress never used a notepad; she remembered every order and knew the names and favorite dishes of all of her regular customers. She would call out the order to the cook, who also never wrote anything down. They never missed a beat in their rhythm and we always got our order within a few minutes. I bet a lot of graduates have the same memories.
